In 2018 three of students, tutored by professors P.F. Cherchi and M. Lecis, graduated with a thesis on the seafront of the ancient mining village of Buggerru. The theses are part of a collaborative work in progress between the University of Cagliari and the Municipality of Buggerru conducted both on a practical and on an educational level.
